Ein Tuberkulosesanatorium sollte, seinem Zweck entsprechend, ein Haus mit offenen Fenstern sein. Künstliche Luftkonditionierung kommt nicht in Frage, da natürliche Ventilation mit frischer, ozonreicher Luft für die Heilwirkung von wesentlicher Bedeutung ist. Die Zimmer und Wohnungen des Personals sind so gelegen, daß es so wenig wie möglich unter der Sanatoriumsatmosphäre leidet.

Die Reflexwirkungen der Decke waren so geplant, daß die Schallwellen sich immer möglichst weit vom Sprechenden aus verteilten, gleichgültig, wo er stand, die Peripherie einbezogen. Mit diesem akustischen System wurde eine besonders intime Diskussionsstimmung erzielt. , l'acoustique le vaut pour une salle de conference. The basic unit: the patients' room. The ceilings are in quiet, dark hues-the walls in lighter shades. Heating is by a radiant ceiling, but not the entire ceiling forms the element. The heating panel is placed so that concentrated radiation is directed at the patient's feet and not at his head. The rest of the room receives only very slight radiation. Natural pre-heating of the incoming air was facilitated by a window of special construction. The cold outside air enters diagonally through the "window boxes" in which the intake openings are as far as possible away from the patient.
